  • Pau D’Arco Inner bark – Suitable for the preparation of tinctures and tea. The tea is usually described as pleasant tasting – earthy and mild. It is especially delicious when infused with warming spices. Pau d’Arco tea has been used for many centuries by the Indio tribes of South America. The ancient Incas and Aztecs were probably the first to be familiar with its healing abilities.
  • The inner back of this beautiful tree has been used for millennia for the relief of everything – from common cold to skin infections and snake bites. Today it is liked for its ability to reduce the presence of CANDIDA in the mouth and intestines. The tea from the bark can also loosens the bowels without giving you diarrhea, thus providing beneficial cleansing effect for the colon.
  • Pau D’Arco is also praised for its ANTI-INFLAMMATORY properties – it is said that the bark increases the secretion of protein in the intestine which reduces the oxidative stress and inflammation.  It has strong ANTI-FUNGAL and ANTI-VIRAL properties, due to the presence of lapachol and xyloidone. The beta-lapochone content of the bark seems to inhibit the ability of the viruses to reproduce and take control.

How long does it take before we ship your order:

Typically orders are shipped within 48-72 hours from the time the payment is processed. Every order is shipped with tracking and we will send you the tracking number for your reference. Within Canada it takes between 7 and 14 days to receive your order. In the rare case that anything should occur that would interrupt or lengthen this process, you will be contacted by email with status of your order.

How are your shipping costs calculated:

The shipping cost is based on the total amount of your order. It goes down with larger orders to eventual free shipping.

Do we offer local pick-up?

Yes, we offer curb-site pick-up. Our pick-up lockers are located in the DeWinton area (South Calgary). Any order amounts qualifies for this option. You should be able to select curb-site pickup option at checkout and would not be charged for shipping. Typically you would be allowed 2 days to pick up your order, if for any reason you are not able to collect within this time frame, please let us know and we would try to give you a new time slot or extend the existing one.

We do ship internationally:

All international orders are shipped using Canada Post Expedited Service. All overcharges on the shipping cost are refunded after your order is processed. If you want to place an order which would be going outside of North America the best would be to email us with your order and we would respond with an invoice which would include shipping cost to your location.

If you have made an error on your shipping address:

If your order has not shipped yet, you can contact us through email with subject line: URGENT and we will apply the change before mailing your package. 

Once shipped mailing address can’t be changed. You will be refunded (minus the shipping cost), if the parcel is returned to us. We always request undelivered packages to be returned to us.

Do you deliver to P.O. Box 

Yes, we do understand all the challenges of rural addressing within Canada. However if the parcel is lost, you would not be allowed to claim refund unless the Canada Post tracking number indicates that the package was never delivered.

Rural Canadian Addresses

If you live on a rural address which cannot accept currier deliveries (such as UPS, FedEx, CanPar or Purolator) - please leave a note when placing your order and we will use Canada Post instead. 

Can orders be picked in person:

Yes, we offer curb side pickup from lockers in the DeWinton area (South Calgary). See "Do we offer local pick-up?" above.

Tracking:

All orders are shipped with tracking number. The number will be automatically emailed to you. If you have not received your tracking information once your order was shipped, please email us and we will the happy to provide you with the information.

If your order was lost in the mail:

Please contact us as soon as you realize that your package is missing. Provide us with your tracking information. We will work with Canada Post to find your missing parcel or provide you with a refund.
