Blueberries are known for their antioxidants, which can help to protect the body from damage caused by free radicals. Elderberries and blueberries contain vitamin C - a vitamin which not only helps the immune system but also aids in the production of collagen. 

Coconut milk powder is a good source of healthy fats, which can help to lower cholesterol and improve heart health. It's also a great source of energy and can help to keep you feeling full for longer. 

Honey is a natural sweetener that has been used for centuries as a remedy for sore throats and other respiratory issues. His also a good source of antioxidants and has antibacterial properties.

Ingredients: 

1 tablespoon Foothills Naturals Elderberry Juice Powder

1 tablespoon Foothills Naturals Coconut Milk Powder

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 teaspoon honey

1/4 cup quick oats

1 cup milk of choice

Optional: protein powder.

 

Directions: 

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for several minutes until smooth.

The thickness can be adjusted easily in a number of ways, such as; adding or reducing milk, adding ice, or increasing the amount of frozen blueberries.

Yoghurt and protein powder make excellent additions to this smoothie.
